The educational policy of our department is to provide opportunities for future dermatologists to maximize their potential in all areas of practice, education and research from an international perspective.
Our educational programs support the growth of our physicians through the acquisition of advanced clinical skills and the experience of working in project teams that conduct cutting-edge international research. In the education program, we provide consistent education in cooperation with many affiliated hospitals, and students can acquire a wide range of clinical experience in areas ranging from common skin diseases to rare diseases, which will help them acquire high clinical skills. In the research program, research project teams from different fields work together to provide an environment in which students can explore their interests to the fullest.
We are convinced that all physicians should have their own goals and work towards them, which will lead to the higher development of medicine in Japan and ultimately the world. When we educate, we respect the individuality of each person and strive to maximize their strengths. Ultimately, we want to provide a place where each participant can go out into the world to realize his or her dreams and hopes.
It has long been said that the skin is a mirror of the internal organs, and deep exploration leads to the deeper mechanisms of the human body. Let’s use the skin as an entry point to further open the doors of medicine and life science, and let’s work together to challenge ourselves to go deeper into the field.
In our department, we actively promote personnel exchange through long-term study abroad and exchange residency programs.
